Byleth Is Joining The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighting Cast –

During the screening of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct, Sakurai announced today that Bylet will be the final fighter in the DLC Fighter Pass 1 series. He/she is the star of the fire emblem: Three apartments and will be on the 28th. January 2020. Read the full press release for more information!

Combat class! Bylet, the famous mercenary and teacher of the Fire Emblem series, is ready to give a combat lesson to the players of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In a video released today, Masahiro Sakurai, the director of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, introduced the fire emblem character in action for the first time, which will be released on the 28th. Janvier will enter the arena as the newest fighter in the game. Sakurai introduced the unique gameplay style of Byleth’s Reach and revealed the Garreg-Mach monastery scene, as well as 11 new pieces from the Fire Emblem series, all from Super Smash Bros. All of this new content will be available to players who purchase the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass or Challenger Pack 5 separately.* In addition to the Bylet announcement, there are new details on the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which includes six additional fighters currently in development. With the purchase of Fighters Pass Vol. 2 at the suggested retail price of $29.99, players will gain access to six additional Challenger Packs that have not yet been announced since its release. Each pack contains a new fighter, a scene and several pieces of music. Those who purchase Fighter Pass Volume 2 will also receive an exclusive costume for the Mii swordsman, the ancient soldier device from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which will air on the 28th. Bylet is the 80th legendary video game character to appear in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which features the largest crossover of video game characters in history. Thanks to Bylet’s chivalrous skills, his involvement will change the course of every battle, and intelligent strategic decisions will motivate every defensive position and attack in turn. With sword, axe, spear and bow in hand, fighting often comes down to choosing the right moment to take a position or advance.

The scene accompanying Bylet, the monastery of Garreg-Mach, also features several cameos by popular characters from the Fire Emblem series, including Edelgard from the Black Eagles series, Claude from the Golden Stag series, and Dimitri from the Blue Lions series.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate also features a new Ouija board with some of the other popular characters from the Fire Emblem series, as well as a new classic A Heroic Legacy travel mode that highlights classic Fire Emblem stages in the series’ history.

Additionally, new Mii Fighter costumes inspired by Cuphead, Rabbids, Altair and various Mega Man games will be released on the 28th. January comes in the trade.
